Taste of Britain 2005

Sandridge Farmhouse Bacon was awarded Silver in the regional/ethnic category of the Taste 2005 awards, organised on partnership by the Daily Telegraph, Sainsbury's and Food From Britain.

Judges were given five guidelines for reaching their verdicts: taste aroma, texture, appearance and "do you crave a second helping?". The answer to the last was frequently yes; sometimes a queue formed!

It is the latest of many National Awards won by the Bromham company, based at Sandridge Farm, between Devizes and Melksham. The Keens raise their own pigs and produce traditional Wiltshire and Dry-cured Bacons.
